The Sapodilla cayes are one of the most stunning island groups in all of Belize. The Sapodilla private island resort is comprised of 3 separate islands located directly on the Belize Barrier Reef within the protected waters of the Sapodilla National Marine Park.
The main island, or center island, is approximately 2 acres in size where the larger resort similar to Kanu Private Island will be located. The second island faces the reef and is separated from the main island by a crystal clear creek with a white sandy bottom.
This smaller island is 1 acre in size and is where the single villa with 2 master-suites and private pool will be located, very similar to our existing Gladden Private Island. The third and smallest island is separated from the main island by a 150-foot sandy beach – plans for a spa and heli pad are planned for this smaller island.
LOCATED WITHIN THE MARINE RESERVE
Sapodilla Cayes Marine Reserve is the most southern of the marine protected areas in Belize, and encompasses the southern-most tip of the Belize Barrier Reef. Covering an area of 38,595 acres (approximate 15,619 ha), the Marine Reserve surrounds fourteen palm-fringed sand or mangrove cayes, some considered to be among the most scenic within Belize.
MAIN ISLAND (KANU 2)
Build a high-end, eco adventure focused resort designed for a large single group of 14+ adults with the flexibility to add kids to the occupancy. Like our Kanu Private Island all rooms will have a/c and unique thatch roofed outdoor bathrooms. The resort will include an over water main structure with dining area, lounge area and large pool. Up to 5 high-end villa rooms will be constructed on the island
SECOND ISLAND (“GLADDEN 2)
The concept for this island would be exactly like our current Gladden Private Island. Focused on creating the perfect experience for one or two couples to have an entire island totally to themselves. This 2,500 SF villa with pool will be completely private from the main island and only accessible by a private bridge.

The current owners of Sapodilla Island Holdings Limited have invested a total of 1,737,000 into the company and have purchased and closed on all 3 island parcels, paid all transfer taxes, legal fees and commissions related to the, purchase, obtained all required environmental permits and approvals.
They are currently in the process of completing the final building plans and cleaning up the island. The Company is looking for additional investors that want to be a part of what will be a truly incredible private island resort located in one of the most beautiful spots on earth. An additional $4,881,000 of capital is required to finish the project and have a fully functional operating resort. Sapodilla Holdings Limited is looking for a few select investors to fund the remaining $4,881,000 in capital required for the project.
